The amazing Mr Ed

ed courtnay.jpg Ed Courtnay (pictured) wowed his suypporters and took out Heat #6 of Quest for the Best. Runner-up was Tim McIntyre while Arjun Miglani also polled strongly.

Cyrus Bezyan and Ben McLeod put in strong performances while Jim Fishwick also had his fans.

Both Ed and Tim go through to the preliminary finals beginning in October.

Quest for the Best is Australia's richest open mic competition.

Winner of the 2010 Quest for the Best grand final in November will receive $5000. And the audience decides the winner.

First and second in each of the six preliminary finals will go on to the Grand Final.Sets are strictly five mins (less is OK) - a bell is rung at four minutes and then again at five minutes to let the comics know they must finish their sets.
