hero Kent Valentine returns
in triumph from Britain
where he has been taking the UK by storm.
He headlines a great night of belly laughs at Comedy on the Rox on Wednesday March 17.
Kent (pictured left) has lived and worked in the UK for the past two years, opening and headlining clubs all around the country and has returned to Australia to star at this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Wednesday night's MC Amanda Gray also makes her celebrated return to the Roxbury after showing the Poms how
it’s done for the past eight months.
She has been
described as a “Super Bitch … who delivers a drizabone set with
brilliant comedic timing”.
Gray (pictured below) will host Heat #7 of Quest for the Best, Australia's richest open mic competition.
Wednesday night's nine up-and-coming comedians will be vying for the chance to win $5000.
First and second, as judged by you, the audience, will contest the competition's preliminary finals in October and the winner of November's Grand Final will take home $5000.
 Not bad for five minutes work!

To date the audiences at Comedy of the Rox have to helped to finance 67 loans to individuals around the world. Of these, 30 loans have been repaid in full.
